My name is Tai, and i am the proud, excited (sometimes confused and frustrated) and newly joined the ever growing ranks of shrimp tanks owners. This is my blog, and i ll try to learn how to use it and share my experiences with others about these tiny, lively little things.
Some people grow plants and flowers, others have dogs and cats, many have fish bowls and tanks, i have shrimps, and im loving it.
I find a strange kind of peace, therapeutic and constructive, tending for them, trying things out, and attempting to enlarge their population best i can.

My interest for shrimps started after I bought two shrimps for my girlfriend's small aquarium (claw shrimps actually, im not sure what they re really called). It didn't take long, (some 8 months ago or so) until I bought shrimps for myself as well, and ever since, my collection has kept on growing, and my wallet keeps being empty. Today I own seven tanks, and they are populated with different kinds of shrimps. With some trials and mistakes, i slowly learn how to care, feed, breed and such my mysterious new little friends. I also own a few snails a single fish. I ve never had a blog before, so please be patient with me, as i try and set it up the way i want, it ll take time to put all the infos, and pictures that i plan on having here, thx.
